If you’re a Catholic, devout or not, check out The Catholic Times newspaper. The Catholic Times is a Manila-based, monthly newspaper focusing on events, issues and concerns affecting the Philippine Catholic Church—from religious to political, from arts to business—at the local, national, and international levels. Its objective is to promote the teachings of Christ and the doctrines of the Catholic Church in order to give the faithful a sense of affirmation and purpose amid changing and difficult times, and growing disenfranchisement in the Church and society at large.
The paper is just new, so its circulation is limited. But its future is promising as it is privately-run and it is not influenced by the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines.
