DHL Says it Helped Prevent Airport Congestion


 

 

 

Express Response. In response to the typhoon calamity that struck the Philippines, DHL deployed the DHL Disaster Response Team to the Philippines to help the Philippine government manage the complex task of handling all kinds of relief and aid that were flown into the country by various international groups and nations who responded to the country's requests for assistance in the wake of the typhoon Ketsana and Parma destruction.

DHL Disaster Response Team at the NAIA 3 Relief Warehouse.  DRT Wave 2 arrived in the Philippines on October 9th and immediately took over operations from the first team after a thorough turn over.  With the team are DHL Express National Gateways and Customs Manager Charles Wyley (leftmost) who laid the ground work for DRT's operations at the NAIA, DHL Express Southeast Asia Senior Vice President Yasmin Aladad Khan (in orange vest) DHL Country Manager for the Philippines Ahmad Mohamad (in green vest) and DHL National Operations Manager, Gerric Martinez.
