Noell builds cranes for MICT
Noell Cranes Systems Limited is currently manufacturing eight rubber tired gantries for International Container Terminal Services Inc. flagship, Manila International Container Terminal. The new RTGs have been erected, and will be pre-shipment commissioned on 20 May. Each RTG will have a stacking capacity of one over five high, and will a fuel saving device installed. They will each have an automatic steering using global positioning and automatic container positioning system. The telescopic spreader is capable of lifting 41 metric tons. The new RTGs should further increase productivity and efficiency at the MICT. Brian Oakley, ICTSI vice president, and Antonio Coronel, purchasing manager, recently visited Noell Cranes Systems in China to inspect the RTGs. Last year, Noell Cranes Systems Ltd. initially delivered four RTGs of the same kind to the MICT.
