POEA recalls Resolution Number 7 which bans the deployment of OFWs to 41 countries. This came after the DFA had withdrawn the certifications on those countries as regards their failure to comply with guarantees on OFWs' welfare and accession to international agreements. In addition, the department had also requested for a 90 -day period wherein the government will work out bilateral agreements with such countries.
