PR_2GO Recognizes Post-Graduates in Completion of TIP Diploma in Supply Chain Management


 

2GO, with its continuous efforts to professionalize the Supply Chain industry, recently recognized first of its twelve post-graduate students who have completed the Diploma in Supply Chain Management Course in the Technological Institute of the Philippines' Center for Continuing Education (TIP-CCE).

 

2GO's aggressive drive in enhancing and sustaining the supply chain industry through the launching of the diploma program is in response to the country's need for well-trained supply chain practitioners.

 

Dr. Elizabeth Q. Lahoz, TIP President explains, "The Technological Institute of the Philippines is committed to contributing to the continued learning and the promotion of the supply chain management profession via the Diploma in Supply Chain Management. We have been fortunate to partner with experts such as the Society of Fellows in Supply Management and 2GO; and we hope that graduates from this diploma course have found not only knowledge but a home in our school as well."

 

The Diploma Course in Supply Chain Management was launched in partnership with TIP-CCE and the Foundation of the Society of Fellows in Supply Management, Inc (SOFSM), a premiere industry organization in supply chain management. The course carries a module in Logistics Management, aiming to offer professionals more career opportunities in the field of supply chain.

 

"It has been a vision of 2GO to professionalize the Supply Chain industry and in pioneering the Diploma in Supply Chain Management Course, along with our esteemed partners SOFSM and TIP, and now the first batch of graduates from this diploma course; we look forward to brightly fulfilling that vision in the very near future," expounds Belle Pacetes, 2GO  Industrial Relations and Training Manager.

One of the graduates, John Paul Balbin, Logistics Support Services Manager of Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation proudly remarks during the graduation, "This diploma course has continued to challenge me, and I urged my fellow graduates as well to continue on the challenges of the 3 C's that we've learned which are competency, as we now have the skills, the knowledge, the network, and the determination to face new challenges; collaboration, where I hope that everyone who took this course will be the ones to lead and collaborate with the members of their organization; and last but not least, to be consistent, insistent and persistent leaders of the supply chain management."
